I can’t believe it’s been 15 months since we’ve been hitched. Time flies so fast when you are having fun and Josh and I have had lots of fun! I am so grateful for my Joshy.
Josh and I spent this last weekend volunteering at the Provo City Center Temple open house. We were both ushers. It was a really good and really hard experience. We had to stand for 4.5 hours and direct people through the tour. There was a continuous stream of people the entire time. Josh directed people up the stairs and filtered people for the elevator. I rode the elevator the entire time picking up and dropping off people. We were exhausted afterwards but we were glad we could help with our temple.
We decided to train for a 10k race on March 12. Josh has been training me since I’ve never ran that much. He’s a great trainer. Running kind of stinks but it’s good to exercise regularly again. I hope I can run the whole race. We are running the Rex Lee Run for cancer research. I am glad to run for a really good cause.
We’ve also been playing racquetball pretty regularly as of late. Josh never played before and we’ve been playing with my brother and dad. Josh can play tennis so this isn’t too much of a challenge for him. It’s been fun playing again and being more active.
Life is good and a blessing. Even though it is hard sometimes, I’m so glad to have my faith, my Joshy, and our family.
