For the past week and a half I have been battling various stages of the common cold. I don’t think “common” is quite the right word to be associated with the cold. I think words like nasty, terrible, feel-like-you-are-going-to-die, etc. more appropriately associate with the cold. Needless to say, it has been a rough little sickness. I know the cold is very “common” and most everybody goes through it, so I’ll stop complaining.
The reason I wanted to write this post is because of my best friend, Joshy. I am so grateful for Josh and all he’s done for me. Like always, he’s right by my side helping me all the way. He went to the store, multiple times, to get me medicine; he lounged around with me and kept me company all through my illness; he gave me a blessing; he he made all my meals for me; he cleaned up after me; he took me to work a couple of times when I needed to go; and on and on. I could not say my prayers without thanking Heavenly Father for my Joshy. He is my best friend and I am so grateful for him! I also have felt the love from my family, from both Josh’s and my families. They have been so good to us.
