Two Little Bookworms Sittin’ on a Couch…

When Josh was a little boy his favorite movie was Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. His Mom said he watched the movie every day for about a year and could quote the whole thing. Not much has changed, he still quotes movies and TV shows verbatim. I think he loved Beauty and Beast because he ended having as much as hair as Gaston and he married a brunette ;). When we were dating, one of the random facts I learned about him was one of his life long dreams is to have a huge library with a rolling ladder. That movie really impacted him.

Josh likes to read…a lot. I, on the other hand, don’t as much. I used to be addicted to books growing up and spent many summers borrowing as many books as I could get my hands on from the library. Sadly, college ruined me… But Josh has helped get back into reading some and he also reads to me. It is a nightly tradition we have before we go to bed. We have finished half of the Harry Potter series, The Hobbit, and The Fellowship of the Ring.  I think The Hobbit is my favorite so far.

A few weeks ago, Josh suggested we visit a a cute old used book store on Center Street called Pioneer Book. I was all for it and we ended spending a few hours just looking at books. It was awesome at the variety of books and how cheaply priced were the books. Josh found some Star Wars books and I even added a few books to my sparse collection. Since that visit we have been back looking for more and even tried another book store down the street. Josh and I are trying to complete my original Hardy Boys Mystery collection my dad gave me and a few of his Star Wars books series. #bookjunkies. We are a few steps closer to that rolling ladder. 🙂
